Over time, we’ve assisted numerous families in this situation. Our aim is to support individuals within their family homes, fostering independence and lessening the reliance on family members as primary caregivers. This approach not only alleviates the caregiving burden but also facilitates skill-building, strengthening familial relationships. We encourage individuals to create support networks beyond the family, engaging in activities and events with peers.

Our support options range from a few hours a week—enabling family members to run errands or enjoy outings with the individual—to weekly day breaks and longer periods, including short trips that allow families some respite. During extended breaks, we can step in to provide support within the family home.

We collaborate closely with families to create comprehensive support plans tailored to routines and specific needs. Often, these plans evolve into regular respite support schedules, spanning months or even years.

Our outreach support is acknowledged and funded by local authorities and Clinical Commissioning Groups. Additionally, we accommodate individuals funded by direct payments, individual service funds, or personal budgets.
